ADMISSION CRITERIA

Entry requirements are based on your highest qualification and the marks/ grades obtained. Most importantly, candidates are required to meet the English Language criteria set by the school.

English Language Requirements 

English language skills are a requirement for (selected countries) for receiving an Australian student visa. IELTS (Academic or General)TOEFLCambridge (CAE) and Pearson (PTE) test results are accepted by the Australian Government Department of Immigration & Border Protection (DIBP) for visa purposes.

 

Institutions set their own English language requirements for course entry, and the English proficiency score  needed for your course may be different to the score needed to secure your visa.

English Entry Requirements of Universities and Colleges in Australia 
*General Guide Only 

Minimum English Requirement of IELTS Academic or other English Assessment equivalent.

Certificate I - IV : Minimum IELTS Academic 5.5

Diploma  – Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree : Minimum IELTS Academic 5.5 - 6.0

Bachelor Degree :  Minimum IELTS Academic 6.0 - 6.5 (with no band below 6.0)

Bachelor Honours Degree : Minimum IELTS Academic 6.5 (with no band below 6.0)

Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma : Minimum IELTS Academic 6.5 - 7.0 (with no band below 6.0 or 6.5)

Masters Degree : Minimum IELTS Academic 6.5 - 7.5 (with no band below 6.5)

Doctoral Degree : Minimum IELTS Academic 6.5 - 8.0 (with no band below 7.0)
